Well I finally put up a blog for usedad.com I just wanted to be able to inform everyone of what’s happening with us and with all the classified ad sites out there today!
As everyone is aware online classified ads are the way of the future. Print ads in local papers are down, waaaayyyyy down! Take for example the Times Colonist paper where I live in Victoria BC. They used to have a whole section of used ads on the weekends to browse. This last Sunday, I counted 4 pages! That is not a typo btw. Which tells me that online classified ads are here to stay and growing in numbers rapidly.
Obviously, craigslist is the number 1, with users posting over 30 million ads per month! That’s huge! Obviously I’m not the only one out there that loves buying and selling used stuff online. I have always had great luck selling whatever on craigs and even backpage. That’s why I created usedad.com, I wanted something that I could customize the way I wanted it, clean, simple and fast loading.
Now obviously I’ve got a long way to go before I become one of the top 10 online classified ad sites but with your help usedad.com will definitely reach that goal. We’ve just broke thru the top 1 million sites as ranked in alexa so that’s a huge step forward.
